I am one of the only actual "users" in this linux user group. I have no geekly skills to speak of, just an interest and enjoyment in running linux on my old thinkpad. Having said this I'd love to learn more: for example, how can I get the very basic website that I run to look ok in a browser running on a linux system?
I lurk on the list in the hope of understanding something and occasionally come fairly close. Any other closet newbies out there are welcome to contact me. Perhaps we could set up our own little corner of this wiki.
My job is teaching economics in the school of development studies at UEA.
